Honoring A Lifetime of Service: Art Pasquinelli

This weekend masons from all over California gathered to honor Arthur Pasquinelli, Past Master of Golden Rule Lodge, with his Golden Veterans' Award (commemorating 50 years as a mason).  The ceremony was presided over by Most Worshipful Bruce Galloway, Grand Master of Masons in California.

Art applied to become a member of Golden Rule Lodge #479 on January 9, 1967.  He was initiated an Entered Apprentice on March 20 of that year, and was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on February 26, 1968.

Art's commitment to serving his brother masons is an example for all.  He became Master of Golden Rule Lodge in 1976.  Following his year as Master, Art served as the Inspector for the 370th Masonic District -- a post he held for fifteen years until retiring from that role in 1992.  In 1992, Art was appointed Head Officers Coach for Golden Rule Lodge, a role he still holds today (over twenty-five years later).

Art was honored with the Hiram Award--a Lodge's highest honor for outstanding service--in 1990.

Art is beloved by his family and his brother masons alike.  His commitment to the Craft is an inspiration to every one of us.

Congratulations Art on 50 wonderful years -- and here's to the next 50!
