As I write this, I am thinking about, how only a few months away, Spring is right around the corner. Trees are going to soon be blooming with
new vegetation, new life. A little sapling will continue to grow into a magnificent tree. What does this have to do with Masonry you might ask?
Our Brother Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying, “Without continual growth, and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and
success have no meaning”.
Every Past Master and every future Master of Golden Rule Lodge
#479 from 1920; until now has and will continue to bring improvements, so that our lodge can achieve success for future generations to come.
Our continuous events, such as our Summer Picnic, Agape Dinners, and of course Columbia every September, are events that have created a strong bond of brotherhood and fellowship that has made Golden Rule #479 what it is today.
I promise your pillars are working together to make sure that these events will continue on as our legacy, and create new events that will only strengthen our lodge.
In 1920 we were that little sapling, now we are becoming and will continue to grow into that magnificent tree.
