FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

We now find ourselves officially halfway through the year. (Yes, my grasp of the obvious is

astounding. I know). It’s been a whirlwind of a year, but things are finally looking up. As you read this, start gearing up for our first in-person tiled event!

We will be holding our Stated Meeting on Monday, July 12th at 7:30pm. Please mark your

calendars and join us for a BBQ dinner and a great business meeting. (Please keep in mind that we have moved the meeting to the 12th, as the original date of the 5th is a holiday. A full calendar of events is below for your reference).

And after that we will hit the ground running and initiate several brethren who have been waiting

a time with patience for well over a year. How exciting! The Craft is alive and well, brothers.

I would like to recognize 2 brothers in particular who have shown exemplary service and

dedication to our ancient and honorable institution: Brother Cirilo Paredes will be receiving the Sciot’s Cornerstone Award on July 23rd, and we will honor Brother Brandon Duenas with a Hiram Award on September 17th. I encourage everyone to come and support our worthy brothers. We should aspire to be men and masons like these.

Lastly, prepare yourselves for our annual trip to Columbia for our honorary third degree

ceremony. We have a very worthy candidate this year, but I won’t reveal his name in the trestleboard. If you are interested in finding out the identity of this mystery brother, I suppose you will have to attend our Stated Meeting, at which a formal announcement will be made.

Your officer core is taking great pains to ensure a smooth reopening process. Please feel free to

reach out if you have any questions or suggestions. We look forward to our continued service to each and every one of you. See you all in the flesh soon!

WHAT AN EXCITING TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!

Cheers!,

Garrett Burrow

Master
